Picture this my 9 year old daughter staring at me with those blue eyes after having asked me to buy her concert tickets for Hannah Montana and waiting for my response. What is a dad to do. How could I say no to my precious pumpkin. I certainly did not want to disappoint her. After all I thought how hard could it be to get her tickets for the concert. I did not answer her right away. After 32 seconds of awkward silence I told her, daddy would check with his concert contacts. She left the room smiling thanking me for making her life long dream come true. She was off to tell her friends that daddy was buying her concert tickets for Hannah Montana. Me I was off to find out who this character was and to score some tickets.

I fired up my computer and Googled Hannah Montana. Another headline read "Hannah Montana has just announced a new tour! It's going to start in St. Louis, MO on October 18 and ends next January 9th, 2008 in Albany, NY." A little more internet searching and I was all set. So who was this girl and why was my daughter so intent on seeing her concert.

The lowdown on this singer. She is a television series which debuted on the Disney Channel. The star of the show is Miley Stewart played by a 14 year old girl whose real name is Miley Cyrus. The show is about Mileys double life as an everyday teenage girl by day and a famous pop singer by night. Only her close friends know her real identity, and of course me.

As I googled on I found this interesting bit of news that would make most 9 year old girls scream with delight. The Disney Channel Teen Pop sensation announced a North American Tour called "Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus Best of Both Worlds Tour." A 54 date tour featuring her songs and Miley Cyrus songs. This is like two concerts in one. Now what was really encouraging for me was that concert tickets were available online. What was discouraging was that the huge demand for concert tickets has driven up the price of the concert tickets.

Doing a quick search on eBay I was able to find concert tickets for most of the dates and cities on her North American Concert Tour.
